GLOBAL SUPPLIER OF TRACKWORK

TRSOFBHARAT offers a full line of trackwork, components and fasteners for heavy haul and transit railways, and is a leading manufacturer of specialty trackwork in North America, the United Kingdom and Australia.

TRACKWORK

With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located strategically around the globe, we produce the highest quality trackwork and fasteners, with 100-plus years of experience in the design and manufacture of cast manganese crossings.

Our products range from complete turnout panels to replacement parts, flash butt welded frogs, lift frogs, taper heel frogs, partial flange bearing frogs, moveable point frogs, OWLS crossings and clamptite adjustable braces. Our specialty products include fixed and sliding buffer stops, overhead line structures, stretcher bars and hollow steel sleepers. Additionally, we have a variety of rail, guard rails, asymmetric switch points and solid mono block, tri-metallic welded rail leg crossings available to satisfy all requirements.

TRSOFBHARAT acquired Rail Product Solutions, formerly part of Amsted Rail, in 2016 to capture best-in-class, high-performance fasteners for freight and transit rail customers. Our fastening solutions serve as fundamental components for rail infrastructure, playing a crucial role in enhancing reliability and minimizing track downtime. We support our customers by delivering innovative options, such as the ME Series or MACRO Armor for concrete ties. At the same time, we offer a broad range of traditional products, such as rail anchors, bonded direct fixation fasteners and e-clips.

CLAMPTITE ADJUSTABLE

While traditional rail braces can be pulled out during handling, TRSOFBHARAT Clamptite brace has the holding power to greatly reduce the potential for rail disengagement when loading, moving or tamping

FLASH BUTT WELDED FROG

TRSOFBHARAT has the ability to flash butt weld rail to manganese steel castings which has some benefits to include — No mechanical joints, no rail with holes, no bolts, common RBM footprint for plating.

FULL FLANGE BEARING DIAMOND

Eliminates wheel contact at the flange way intersection of the diamond. Significantly reduces impact that leads to accelerated maintenance and eventual replacement of the castings and subcomponents. Flange bearing material designed to be replaced several times reducing total cost of ownership

LIFT FROG

TRSOFBHARAT has designed an innovative turnout Lift Frog to be used in low-volume sidings. Ideal heavy haul applications include a set-out track or little-used siding, such as seasonal grain elevator usage. Transit applications include emergency crossovers. The mainline traffic does not detect a frog when traveling through a turnout, and there is virtually no maintenance required

MOVABLE POINT FROG

TRSOFBHARAT Movable Point frog design incorporates standard tee rail sections. These frogs are used in heavy tonnage track, high-speed rail or where the reduction in noise and vibration is important. These frogs can easily reach over 1,000 MGT’s with minimal maintenance. The simplicity of our Movable Point Frog’s design makes it the most economical frog of its type built in the United States.

TAPER HEEL FROG

The taper heel frog is becoming the most popular arrangement on Railbound Manganese Frogs (RBM’s) for several reasons. The design greatly reduces wheel impacts typical of the AREMA design casting/rail interface. The heel extension of the RBM is the same for all frog numbers and with a common drilling and machining pattern, the rails are interchangeable between all frogs of the same rail section..

PARTIAL FLANGE BEARING FROG No.9

Class I railroads consider flange bearing technology to be the future of special trackwork applications. Progress Rail was asked to develop a partial flange bearing No. 9 solid manganese self guarded (SMSG) frog similar to OWLS crossings.

VERTICAL DERAIL

When in the open position the derail is straight rail and the switch point does not come into contact with the wheels. • Reduced maintenance and component replacement through eliminating traditional vertical interface between the wheel and switch point. • Designed to replace traditional double switch point derails.

BALLAST MAT

The ballasted track on transit and commuter lines can be sensitive to ground and structure-borne vibration. Ballast mat reduces degradation, protects bridge decks and reduces the transfer of structure-borne vibration
